Missed the AAGSI Annual General Meeting? Don't panic, this article is here to give you a summary! Find out point by point the debrief of past actions and the program of the new board.

On February 20, at 7pm, the AGM (Annual General Meeting) took place online, via Teams and YouTube. On the agenda: debrief of the past year and election of the new board. 11 paid-upparticipants attended. The event was also broadcast on YouTube for non-members.

The meeting began with former president Xavier Daulcle reviewing the years 2022 and 2023. Firstly, the alumni-student sharing and support program: Mentoraa , which was launched in 2020. Since its launch, it has trained 41 mentees.

Then, the main advances concerning the Agora, the AAGSI portal, were the addition of modules such as alumni speeches and an updated database of new graduates; the creation of new groups for double graduates from Brazil and work-study students; the setting up of a student job at ENSGSI to write articles, communicate on social networks and update the database.

In terms of events, 3 thematicroundtables were held, bringing together a number of alumni. 3 "No Transition" sessions for alumni and students to exchange views on employment issues were also organized, with ENSGSI in attendance.

These various points made up the association's moral balance sheet, which was validated by a vote of those taking part on Teams!

The former president then handed over to Margot Raynal, treasurer for the year 2023. She gave a short financial report, which was also approved by vote. This report led to a discussion of membership fees. As the AAGSI's main source of income, membership fees are essential, but the number of subscribers is falling. Suggestions were then put forward by the assembly, such as, for example, another model of payment in the form of participation, where alumni could sponsor students by paying their dues. The subject is still open and suggestions are welcome!

Then it was the turn of Nicolas Lelong, candidate for the AAGSI presidency, to present his team and program!

The new team has been introduced and can be seen on the left of the trombinoscope.

The new mandate will be driven by 3 issues: membership, updating and links.

Future objectives are manifold. Firstly, the new board wants to reinvigorate the Agora with regular, fresh content.

New services for members will also be launched to ensure that everyone finds their interest in the association. These will include the resumption of Mentoraa, job offers, the implementation of job descriptions and much more...

On a more social level, new events are planned to encourage networking and bonding. In particular, we'd like to organize an alumni week-end, meet-ups or round-table discussions.

Nicolas Lelong and his board were elected on the basis of this comprehensive, ambitious and attractive program! Congratulations to them, we hope all their projects come to fruition successfully , and that they inspire you to discover more about AAGSI, because the association can't wait to unveil everything it has in store for you... So stay tuned !

A big well done and a special salute to Xavier Daulcle, who is stepping down after many years on the association's board. The ENSGSI family would like to thank you for all your hard work, particularly in revitalizing the association thanks to your determination and commitment. This is not goodbye, but see you soon at our future events!

Feel free to watch the AGM replay on YouTube if you'd like more details on upcoming actions.

We look forward to seeing you around a round table or at a nice alumni week-end!
